About Me
My name is Jessica Rolli-Vaccaro and I am currently a student attending McGill University working towards my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
I have always had a strong connection with animals, as I have grown up with cats and dogs in the house, literally. My cat Misha is two years old and rescued from the street (along with his brothers and sisters), my mixed terrier Poopee is twelve and was rescued from the SPCA, and my chihuahua Chiquita is two and was from a breeder. I am very attached to my animals as they have become a part of the family.
I recently found a stray Lhasa Apso, as well as a kitten near my home in Rivières-des-Prairies. I suddenly realised what a challenge it is to find strays a home. I placed ads on the internet as well as posters in my neighborhood without any luck. I then found a shelter for the puppy we found in the Townships where they too had a veterinarian and adoption center. Unfortunately, they only accepted dogs. Finding the kitten a home was much more difficult thanks to the over population of cats in the Montreal area. This has inspired me to open a grooming salon, as my aunt has recently received her grooming degree, that also includes a shelter with its own veterinarian which helps animals find a new home.
In other words, some people might refer to me as a crazy cat lady, which I honestly don't mind. Knowing I am helping animals find good homes, as well as helping owners maintain a good hygiene for their pets makes me one of the happiest people on earth.

These pictures are of the animals I recently found mentioned above. They are the sweetest and I miss them dearly! So glad they have now found good homes where they can be loved and live a long, happy life.
This next one is a picture of the kittens my aunt and I rescued along with a few of my friends. I found homes for all the kitties, except the grey one which I kept and is now known as Misha.
